A Perigrino (pilgrim) on the Camino de Santiago de Compestella, Northern Spain

Hello the image below is me a day before starting the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compestella. I am writing this post to you from the kitchen of my walking partner Tony in Ashford Kent UK. We leave @ 600hrs
Malcolm Williams the Perigrino
Santiago de Compestella is believed to be the burial place of St James the apostle. For the last 1000 years pilgrims have walked to the site from far away lands. We chose the French route St Jean Pied de Port in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The same route as Mr Tom Avery as in the movie >the way<

Our reason for the walk?
Cancer has touched us both
To follow us and donate to the Pilgrims Hospice for Cancer

My friends wherever you are we wish you well as we walk the many miles to Santiago de Compestella. Please think of us >two old mates< giving thanks for our many blessings.

Bon Camino

Malcolm
